PNGase F, Recombinant
PNGase F is an amidohydrolase, which cleaves the β-aspartylglucosamine bond between the innermost GlcNAc of glycans and asparagine residues of high mannose, hybrid and complex oligosaccharides from N-linked glycoproteins and glycopeptides. The cleavage results in a deaminated protein or peptide and free glycans. PNGase F is widely used in the de-glycosylation of glycoproteins to study glycans and identify glycosylation sites.
