Circular porous cellophane sheets are desinged to fit inside standard petri dishes. The circles have a diameter of 8cm, and they can float on top of media and / or nutirional platforms. The organism of interest can be seeded on top of the cellophane, and can absorb nutrition through the pores. This makes harvesting easier and more efficient.
