Mapracorat

Mapracorat is a selective glucocorticoid receptor agonist (SEGRA) with anti-inflammatory properties. It is in clinical trials for the topical treatment of atopic dermatitis, allergic conjunctivitis and Eczema. It inhibits TNFα secretion from activated canine peripheral blood derived mononuclear cells with an IC₅₀ value of approximately 0.2 nM. It shows beneficial effects in inflammatory and pruritic skin diseases in dogs.
