Pexiganan acetate is an orally active broad-spectrum antimicrobial peptide, which inhibits 99% gram-positive and Gram-negative aerobic bacteria through disruption of cell membrane/cells permeability. Pexiganan acetate can be used in the research of infections, such as diabetic foot ulcer infections[1].
