5-trans-PGE2
5-trans-PGE2 (5-trans Prostaglandin E2) is the active isomer of PGE2 and a potent activator of aromatase. Supplements the process of paracrine signaling between epithelial cells (expressing high levels of PGE2) and surrounding stromal cells (expressing high levels of aromatase) . This process is involved in the growth and development of breast cancer[1].
