Fmoc-1-methyl-L-histidine is a Fmoc protected amino acid and amino acid-containing building block. Fmoc-1-methyl-L-histidine can be used in the production of ε-nitrogen-ligated copper centers in copper nitrite reductases. Fmoc-1-methyl-L-histidine can also be used as an intermediate for peptide synthesis[1].
