Chicken anti Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A (Heavy Chain Binding Domain)

Chickens were immunized with highly purified Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A (Heavy Chain Binding Domain) (HcA) (Clostridium botulinum). After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A Heavy Chain Binding Domain was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support.

This antibody is suitable for ELISA and Western Blotting; For direct ELISA, a 1:10,000 dilution detects 2 µg coating of Botulinum Toxin A. For Western blot, the recommended dilution to probe 0.5 µg of unreduced holotoxin or heavy chain is 1:2000.
