Filipin II is an antibiotic, which exhibits antifungal efficacy. Filipin II interacts with membrane sterols, leads to changes in membrane structure, inhibits Candida utilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae with the MIC of 0.03 mg/L and 0.2 μg/L[1][2].
