Specificity

This antibody recognizes the gene product hk5 of human KLK5 (also known as KLK-L2), one of the many kallikrein serine proteases associated with carcinogenesis. KLK5 is up- regulated by estrogens and progestins and is expressed in breast, brain, and testis.
