Actinomycin D (Dactinomycin)

Actinomycin D (Dactinomycin, Act D, RASP-101) is a significant polypeptide antibiotic isolated from soil bacteria of the genus Streptomyces. Actinomycin D (Dactinomycin) inhibits DNA repair and rests the cell cycle at G1 phase with IC50 of 0.42 μM and 0.4 nM, respectively. Actinomycin D is an autophagy activator, induces p53-independent cell death and prolongs survival in high-risk chronic lymphocytic leukemia.This product is a hazardous chemical (acute toxicity/flammable/skin corrosive) .
