It displays selectivity for IGF-1R and does not coinhibit tyrosine phosphorylation the IR, or of a selected panel of receptors less related to IGF-IR (FGF-R, PDGF-R, OR EGF-R) . Picropodophyllin (PPP) induces apoptosis with antineoplastic activity.
