Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks H (+) -K (+) -ATPase, used to treat dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, laryngopharyngeal reflux, and Zollinger–Ellison syndrome.
