ZSH‐2208 is a RARγ-selective retinoic acid analogue that exhibits potent anti-tumor effects in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) . It inhibits ESCC tumour-repopulating cells (TRCs) by downregulating TNFAIP3, thereby suppressing proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
