Omadacycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. Omadacycline hydrochloride exhibits broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against aerobic and anaerobic Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as atypical bacteria.
