HRX215 (Darizmetinib) is a first-in-class, highly potent, selective, and orally active inhibitor of MKK4 with an IC50 of 0.02 μM. It enhances liver regeneration, prevents liver failure following extensive hepatectomy in pigs, and has potential to prevent liver failure after major oncological liver resections or transplantation of small liver grafts in humans.
