Azidoacetic Acid
Azidoacetic Acid (2-Azidoacetic acid) (compound 92-1) is a click chemistry reagent containing an azide group. Azidoacetic Acid can be used as a small molecule tool for the synthesis of PROTAC[1]. It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. It can also undergo ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
