4,5-Dibromo-2-pyrrolic acid (compound 2) is an immunosuppressive compound. 4,5-Dibromo-2-pyrrolic acid suppresses the proliferative response of splenocytes to suboptimal concentrations of the mitogen, concanavalin A (Con A) [1].
