Azido Myristic Acid
Azido Myristic Acid is a click chemistry reagent containing an azide group. Azido Myristic Acid can be used to identify and characterize post-translationally myristylated proteins with using a simple and robust two-step labeling and detection technique[1]. It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. It can also undergo ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
