KN-93 hydrochloride

KN-93 hydrochloride is a methoxybenzenesulfonamide derivative that inhibits Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) with a Ki of 0.37 μM. It reduces dopamine (DA) production by influencing the reaction rate of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), leading to decreased Ca (2+) -mediated phosphorylation of the TH protein.
