RScript Plus Reverse Transcriptase

OneScript® Hot cDNA Synthesis Kit enables highly efficient and robust cDNA synthesis at elevated temperatures (up to 60–72°C), making it especially suitable for difficult RNA templates that are not efficiently reverse transcribed under standard conditions. Unlike conventional kits optimized for 42–55°C, this system uses a thermostable reverse transcriptase derived from Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MLV RT), engineered to maintain strong activity at higher temperatures. This helps reduce RNA secondary structure issues, improves access to GC-rich regions, and enhances full-length cDNA synthesis. The enzyme is modified to eliminate RNase H activity, preserving RNA integrity during first-strand synthesis and improving yield and fidelity. It also shows improved resistance to inhibitors commonly present in biological samples or RNA extraction reagents. The kit includes abm’s RNaseOFFTM ribonuclease inhibitor, which provides strong RNA protection and remains stable even at very low DTT concentrations (<1 mM), ensuring reliable performance under challenging conditions.
