RScript Hot Reverse Transcriptase
OneScript® Hot Reverse Transcriptase is a thermostable, engineered derivative of Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus Reverse Transcriptase (M-MLV RT) . It is designed to efficiently reverse transcribe low-abundance or partially degraded RNA, while providing strong resistance to common inhibitors found in RNA extraction reagents and biological samples. This enzyme is genetically modified to eliminate RNase H activity, improving thermal stability and enabling high processivity and sensitivity. It supports rapid synthesis of full-length cDNA, significantly reducing reaction time compared to conventional reverse transcriptases. It performs efficiently at elevated temperatures (60–72°C), making it especially suitable for difficult RNA templates with strong secondary structures or high GC content. The enzyme is formulated with abm’s RNaseOFFTM Ribonuclease Inhibitor, which provides enhanced RNA protection, improved resistance to oxidation, and remains stable even at very low DTT concentrations (<1 mM) .
