The TRUPCR® ESBL Resistance Detection Kit is a multiplex real-time PCR assay designed for the sensitive and specific detection and differentiation of Extended-Spectrum β-Lactamase (ESBL) resistance genes directly from clinical samples or cultured isolates.The assay targets the most clinically prevalent ESBL genes: blaCTX-M group 1, blaTEM, and blaSHV, enabling rapid identification of β-lactam resistance mechanisms that is used to treat severe infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram negative bacteria.
