Gastrointestinal Panel 1 kit is a single tube multiplexed Real-time PCR kit for the qualitative detection of diarrhoea causing Salmonella, Shigella, Campylobacter and Verotoxin (VTEC) producing E.coli in clinical samples. The assay is based on the Taqman hydrolosis probe technology which allows a higher specificity and sensitivity. Endogenous Internal control gene is included in this assay, to verify the quality of samples, DNA and possible presence of inhibitors.
