Applications

The amyloidogenic peptide hormone amylin 1-37 (or Islet Amyloid Polypeptide, IAPP), KCNTATCATQRLANFLVHSSNNFGAILSSTNVGSNTY amide, has been isolated from the amyloid-rich pancreases of diabetic patients.
