Store at 4°C in the dark. Under these conditions, the antibodies should have a shelf life of at least twelve months, provided they remain sterile. For longer term storage, aliquot and freeze to avoid freeze-thaw of the antibody.
Notes
Eggs from at least 20 chickens were purified from the yolks using a proprietary. The IgY fraction was then dialyzed against phosphate-buffered isotonic saline. Sodium azide was then added and the preparation was filter-sterilized (0.45 μm filter) .
Quality Control
IgY preparation was analyzed by both SDS-PAGE and ELISA to confirm that IgY purity and ELISA reactivity meet specifications.

These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
