CJ236 Electro Competent Cells

CJ236 Electrocompetent Cells are specialized E. coli cells optimized for the preparation of uracil-containing DNA templates used in site-directed mutagenesis and phage display applications. The genotype enables incorporation of uracil into DNA, facilitating efficient mutagenesis using uracil-DNA glycosylase–dependent methods. The strain also carries F′ and thi-1 mutations for M13 propagation and plasmid maintenance. These electrocompetent cells offer high transformation efficiency, typically up to 1x109 cfu/μg pUC19 DNA, ensuring reliable cloning and mutagenesis results. Supplied as ready-to-use aliquots compatible with all major electroporation systems, each batch is QC-tested for transformation efficiency, sterility, and uracil incorporation capacity.
