DNA Probe Purification Kit

The DNA Probe Purification Kit provides a rapid, reliable method to clean and concentrate labeled DNA probes (radio-isotope or non-radio) or random-primed reaction products by removing salts, free labels, enzymes, and nucleotide fragments. After hybridization labeling or nick-translation, the reaction is applied to a silica‐membrane spin column or resin cartridge, washed to eliminate impurities, and eluted in a low‐volume buffer optimised for hybridisation or downstream labelling. Typical recoveries exceed 70–90% of the input probe, and eluates are ready for use in Southern/Northern blotting, FISH, microarrays, or in vitro translation assays. The kit includes binding columns or cartridges, wash buffer, elution buffer, collection tubes and detailed user instructions—no ethanol precipitation or time-consuming cleanup required. Ideal for molecular biology, diagnostics and research labs working with labeled DNA probes.
