Poly-Gel RNA Purification Kit

The Poly-Gel RNA Purification Kit is tailored for efficient recovery of high-quality RNA fragments from polyacrylamide gel slices (denaturing or native) and polyacrylamide-based fractionation workflows. After excising the target band from a 5–25% (w/v) polyacrylamide gel, the gel slice is dissolved in a specialized dissociation buffer, debris is removed, and RNA binds to a high-capacity silica-matrix or equivalent column. The bound RNA is washed to remove acrylamide, salts and dyes, then eluted in a low-volume RNase-free buffer. The optimized chemistry yields fragments (e.g., ~17–200 nt for small RNAs) with strong integrity (A260/A280 > 1.8) and is compatible with downstream manipulations such as RT-PCR, ligation, Northern blotting or RNA-seq library prep. The kit includes gel-dissolution/binding buffer, filter or spin columns, wash buffers, RNase-free elution buffer, collection tubes and detailed protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction or prolonged precipitation is required—ideal for sequencing, transcriptomics, small-RNA recovery and precise fragment purification workflows.
