Micro Volume DNA Kit

The Micro Volume DNA Kit is designed for high-efficiency purification of genomic DNA from small-volume or low-input samples — including micro-tissue biopsies, small animal tissue fragments, cultured cells (<1 x 106 cells), or minimal volumes of body fluids. The workflow features optimized lysis of cells or tissue, binding of DNA to a high-performance micro-column or bead format tailored to low-mass input, rigorous wash steps to remove proteins and inhibitors, and final elution in minimal volume for maximum concentration. Typical kit sizes include 50 and 250 preparations. The kit is suitable for downstream applications such as PCR, quantitative real-time PCR, sequencing and genotyping when sample is limiting. It includes micro-volume binding modules, lysis/neutralization buffers, wash buffers, elution buffer, RNase-free collection tubes and a detailed protocol. Ideal for research labs working with precious, low-input samples where DNA yield and concentration are critical.
