FFPE DNA Purification Kit

The FFPE DNA Purification Kit is optimized for extracting high-quality genomic DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. The workflow features a safe, solvent-minimized deparaffinization step, followed by proteinase K digestion and heat-mediated reversal of formalin cross-links. Released DNA is bound to a silica-membrane or bead format, washed to remove proteins, paraffin remnants, and inhibitors, and eluted in low-volume buffer suitable for downstream use. The kit accommodates multiple 5–10 μm sections (or equivalent tissue mass) and recovers DNA fragments appropriate for PCR, qPCR, microarray, NGS and STR analysis. Included are deparaffinization solution or reagent, digestion buffer, proteinase K, binding columns or beads, wash buffers, elution buffer, collection tubes and a detailed protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction required—ideal for genomics, pathology-research and archived-sample workflows.
