The 96-Well Viral DNA/RNA Kit enables high-throughput purification of viral DNA and RNA from up to 96 samples in parallel—ideal for clinical research, virology labs and automation workflows. Sample inputs typically include 50-500 μL of plasma, serum, swab transport medium, cell culture supernatant or other fluid specimen. The workflow begins with viral-particle lysis and inactivation of RNases/DNases, followed by binding of nucleic acids to a 96-well silica-membrane or bead-based plate, sequential wash steps to remove proteins, inhibitors and heme/hemoglobin, and final elution of high-quality DNA and RNA in RNase/DNase-free buffer. The purified nucleic acids are suitable for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, virus genotyping, next-generation sequencing and molecular diagnostics. The kit includes 96-well binding/collection plates, sealing films, lysis buffer, binding beads/plate, wash buffers, elution buffer, carrier RNA (optional), and a detailed protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation required—providing efficient, reproducible nucleic-acid recovery with minimal hands-on time for large-scale viral workflows.
