Blood DNA Mini Kit
The Blood DNA Mini Kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of high-quality genomic DNA from small volumes of anticoagulated whole blood (typically 1–250 μL) or related samples (e.g., buffy coat, plasma, serum, bone marrow) . The protocol relies on protease digestion, silica-membrane or resin-based selective binding of DNA, followed by wash steps to remove proteins, cell debris and inhibitors, and elution of pure DNA in low-salt buffer or water. Typical yield from ~200 μL whole human blood is ~4–12 μg of DNA. The purified DNA is suitable for downstream applications including PCR, qPCR, restriction enzyme digestion, Southern blotting and sequencing. The kit includes Proteinase K (or equivalent protease), binding columns or modules, wash solutions, elution buffer, collection tubes and a detailed user protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction or alcohol-precipitation is required—ideal for molecular biology, genomics and diagnostic-research workflows requiring clean DNA from blood samples.
