The Tissue RNA Shredder is a specialized homogenization device designed to simplify and improve tissue and cell lysate preparation prior to RNA isolation. Available in spin-column or membrane formats, it rapidly shears and clarifies viscous lysates, breaking down tissue debris and facilitating efficient nucleic acid binding in downstream RNA purification steps. It delivers comparable yield and RNA quality to mechanical homogenizers while minimizing sample loss and cross-contamination. The unit is compatible with microcentrifuge or vacuum manifold systems and supports sample volumes up to approximately 700 μL per column (depending on model) .
