Tissue/Cell miRNAs Kit
The Tissue/Cell Micro-RNA Kit provides an optimized, efficient workflow for isolating high-quality total RNA including microRNAs (miRNAs) from animal or human tissue and cultured cell samples. Using a strong denaturing lysis buffer to immediately inactivate RNases, the protocol then binds RNA—including small RNAs (≥ ~18 nt) and mature miRNAs—to a high-capacity silica membrane or bead-based matrix. Sample input ranges typically from ~1x105 cells or ~5 mg tissue up to ~1x107 cells or ~30 mg tissue depending on version. The kit includes on-column DNase I treatment to eliminate genomic DNA, effective removal of proteins, lipids and inhibitors, followed by wash steps and elution in RNase-free water. Purified RNA is ready for demanding downstream applications such as RT-qPCR of mature miRNAs, microarray profiling of small RNA, next-generation sequencing of the miRome, or Northern blot analysis. The kit includes lysis buffer, binding columns (or magnetic beads), DNase I reagent, wash buffers, elution buffer, RNase-free collection tubes and a detailed user protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction required—ideal for molecular biology, transcriptomics and biomarker-research workflows where microRNA recovery and purity are critical.
