Virus RNA Kit

The Virus RNA Kit is engineered for rapid, efficient isolation of high-quality viral RNA from cell-free fluids (e.g., plasma, serum, saliva, nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal swabs, cell culture supernatants, bronchoalveolar lavage and sputum) . The workflow uses lysis buffer with carrier RNA, viral particle disruption, RNA binding to a high-capacity silica membrane or magnetic bead matrix, wash steps to remove proteins, salts and inhibitors, followed by elution in low-volume RNase-free buffer. Purified RNA is ready for downstream applications including RT-PCR, qRT-PCR, next-generation sequencing, viral genotyping and transcriptomics of RNA viruses. Typical input volumes range from ~50 μL to ~500 μL depending on the sample type; processing time is under 45 minutes for manual spin-column format. Kit components include lysis buffer with carrier RNA, binding matrix (columns or beads), wash buffers, elution buffer, collection tubes, and a detailed protocol. Ideal for infectious-disease research, virology labs, and high-throughput viral RNA workflows.
