The 96-Well Plant RNA Kit is tailored for rapid, parallel isolation of high-quality total RNA from plant tissues (e.g., 5-100 mg per well, depending on tissue type) using a 96-well plate format. The workflow includes mechanical disruption/homogenization, strong lysis to inactivate RNases, filtering/clarification, RNA binding on a 96-well binding plate, washing steps to remove polysaccharides and polyphenols, and elution of purified RNA ready for downstream applications. Processing of one full plate can be completed in ~30-60 minutes. The kit supports both vacuum/centrifuge and automation systems. Typical yields range from several micrograms per sample (depending on material) and purified RNA is suitable for RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, microarray analysis and gene-expression profiling. Kit components include: 96-well binding plate, collection and elution plates, homogenization plate or beads (depending on version), lysis buffer, binding/wash buffers, RNase-free Elution Buffer, and a detailed protocol.
