Plant RNA Mega Kit

The Plant RNA Mega Kit is engineered for ultra-high-capacity purification of total RNA from large-scale plant tissue samples (e.g., ~500 mg–1 g fresh tissue, or dense/woody material) or bulk fungal cultures. The robust lysis buffer system is optimized to rapidly inactivate RNases and remove abundant polysaccharides, polyphenols and other plant-derived inhibitors. The high-capacity binding column or bead format supports extraction of hundreds of micrograms of RNA, delivering eluates with excellent purity (A260/A280 ~1.9–2.1) and integrity suitable for demanding downstream applications including RT-qPCR arrays, RNA-seq library preparation, microarray gene-expression profiling and long-term storage. The streamlined workflow completes in under 60 minutes without phenol/chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation. The kit includes high-capacity binding columns (or beads), large-volume lysis and wash buffers, RNase-free Elution Buffer, optional on-column DNase I treatment, RNase A, and a detailed user protocol.
