Blood RNA Maxi Kit

The Blood RNA Maxi Kit is designed for large-volume purification of high-quality total cellular RNA from whole blood (e.g., 2–10 mL) or heavy-cell-load samples using a high-capacity spin-column or equivalent format. The protocol features red-blood-cell lysis, white-cell enrichment, strong denaturing lysis to inactivate RNases, selective binding of RNA on a high-capacity matrix, followed by rigorous wash steps to remove hemoglobin, heme, and inhibitors. Typical yields range up to hundreds of micrograms of RNA with A260/A280 ratios ~1.9–2.1. The kit includes high-capacity binding columns, large-volume lysis and wash buffers, RNase-free elution buffer, optional DNase treatment, RNase A, and a detailed protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation is required. Ideal for gene-expression profiling, large-scale transcriptomics or RNA-seq workflows from blood specimens.
