BAC/PAC Maxi Isolation Kit

The BAC/PAC Maxi Isolation Kit from BioMiga is designed for efficient purification of large-insert vectors such as BACs, PACs, cosmids and P1 clones from ~50–250 mL of E. coli culture (or higher-volume depending on copy number) . The kit uses an optimized alkaline-lysis procedure adapted to a high-capacity spin-column format and supports ultra-high yields. Buffers are guanidine-salt-free and free of ion-exchange resin residues, delivering ultra-pure DNA suitable for demanding downstream applications such as genome library screening, large-insert sequencing, sub-clone preparation and vector production. Two protocols are included: one optimized for low-copy large-insert vectors, another for higher-copy plasmids. The DNA binding unit supports higher capacity, and kit components include maxi-columns, high-volume lysis/neutralization buffers, binding and wash solutions, RNase A, Elution Buffer and detailed user manual. Ideal for genomics, biotechnology and high-throughput research labs requiring high-quality, large-insert DNA in one pass.
