96 BAC/PAC Isolation Kit

The 96 BAC/PAC Isolation Kit from BioMiga is designed for high-throughput purification of large-insert vectors (BACs, PACs, cosmids, P1) from small-volume E. coli cultures (~1–5 mL each) using a 96-well plate workflow. Cells are lysed via an optimized alkaline-lysis method, cleared, and transferred to binding plates by centrifugation or vacuum. The system typically yields 1–4 μg DNA per culture well and supports both manual and automated platforms. The kit includes all necessary buffers for lysis, binding, washing, and elution, with linear polyacrylamide added for low-copy vector recovery. Dual protocols accommodate both BAC/PAC and high-copy plasmids. Each kit contains 96-well plates (culture, lysate-clearance, binding, and collection), sealing films, buffers (X1, X2, X3, binding buffer, DNA wash buffer, elution buffer), RNase A, and a detailed protocol. Ideal for rapid, parallel processing in library screening, genomics, and vector construction workflows.
