Specificity
Recognizes RyR-1 and RyR-2 isoforms. In chicken, it detects the α, β and cardiac isoforms; in frog the α and β isoforms; and in fish the α isoform. Also recognizes RyR-3 in mouse cells.

Applications Notes
Detects a band of ~565kDa by Western blot, representing RyR from rat skeletal muscle extracts. In non-mammalian vertebrates, a doublet is seen at 565kDa, representing the α and β isoforms.
