The hybridoma secreting the antibody clone b8-17 was generated by fusion of splenocytes from Balb/cmice which had received repeated immunisation with recombinant human β5t subunit protein (accession number: A5LHX3) . Immunoglobulin was purified from tissue culture supernatant by ion exchange chromatography.
