Specificity

Recognizes an epitope in domain 2 of all CD32 isoforms.

Applications Notes

Functional Application (blocks immune complex binding, as does the F (ab’) 2 fragment) . The F (ab’) 2 fragment blocks non-antigen-specific binding of immunoglobulins to the FcγIII and FcγII receptors in vitro . It is therefore a useful tool to reduce strong background staining of Fc-containing MAbs in FC and IHC. Also useful when recombinant Fc:fusion proteins are employed as detection tools for the detection of the cognate ligands.
