Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) is a glycolytic and key regulatory enzyme and most commonly used as a housekeeping gene. AMPIVIEW ® GAPDH (AS) Dig RNA Probes are optimized for detection of GAPDH RNA or RNA/DNA in FFPE tissues or cells. AMPIVIEW ® NSP Dig RNA Probes are ready-to-use probes that have been designed with a non-specific sequence. Both probes can be detected with DIGX ® anti-digoxigenin linker, POLYVIEW ® PLUS detection reagents combined with HIGHDEF ® chromogens and counterstains (linker and detection solutions not included) . Dilutions and concentration optimization can be done with AMPIVIEW ® Hybridization Buffer (1X), included in this kit.
Applications Notes
AMPIVIEW ® GAPDH and NSP Dig Control Probes Kit contains AMPIVIEW ® GAPDH (AS) Dig RNA probes (positive control) and NSP Dig RNA probes (negative control) for in situ hybridization in tissues and cells. AMPIVIEW ® GAPDH (AS) Dig RNA probes have been designed to target human glyceraldehyde-3- phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) in tissues and cells. AMPIVIEW ® NSP Dig RNA probes have been designed with a non-specific sequence to use as a negative control. Both probes have a digoxigenin label and have been optimized to produce clear results with Enzo’s DIGX ® anti-digoxigenin linker and nanopolymner-based detection systems such as POLYVIEW ® PLUS, combined with HIGHDEF ® chromogens and counterstain to produce clear results that can be visualized with a light microscope.
