P40 (DeltaNp63) Rabbit mAb IHC Kit

P40 (△ Np63) is one of the subtypes of p63 protein and the main p63 isoform in basal cells / progenitor cells. It is expressed in urothelial cells and squamous cells, myoepithelial cells of breast, sweat gland and salivary gland, and basal cells of prostate. P40 has a high sensitivity similar to p63 in lung squamous cell carcinoma, but it is rarely expressed in lung adenocarcinoma, so P40 is used in the differential diagnosis of lung squamous cell carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma.
