Background
MUC5AC, also known as gastric mucus, is a kind of macromolecular glycoprotein with complex glycosyl structure. It is mainly distributed in normal gastric epithelium and embryonic colon mucosa, but not in adult colon mucosa. It is mainly used for the study of gastric cancer, colon cancer and various intestinal metaplasia.
