S100A6 Mouse mAb IHC Kit
Product Specifications
Background
S100A6 is a member of S100 protein family, which contains two EF hand calcium binding motifs. S100 protein is localized in the cytoplasm and / or nucleus of many cells and is involved in the regulation of many cellular processes, such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 gene includes at least 13 members, which are located on chromosome 1q21 as a cluster. The protein may play a role in stimulating calcium dependent insulin release, prolactin secretion and exocytosis.
