MUC16 Mouse mAb IHC Kit
Product Specifications
Background
CA125 is a high molecular weight glycoprotein that plays an important role in forming a protective mucous barrier. It is mainly expressed in endometrium, cervical endometrium, fallopian tube epithelial cells and mesothelial cells. However, it is not expressed in normal non menstrual and pregnant ovarie. CA125 is an important marker of ovarian serous adenocarcinoma. It has reference value for the differential diagnosis of serous cystadenocarcinoma and mucinous cystadenocarcinoma. It is mainly used in the study of ovarian cancer and its metastasis.
