Background
CK10 is a type I cytokeratin with a molecular weight of 56. 5kd, which is expressed in cells above the basal layer of stratified epithelium and keratinized epithelium. It plays a role in establishing epidermal barrier of plantar skin. The expression of CK10 is directly proportional to the degree of cell differentiation. Highly differentiated patients are often positive, which is mainly used for the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma
