CD44 Mouse mAb IHC Kit
Product Specifications
Background
CD44 is a cell surface receptor, which belongs to the family of cell adhesion molecules that mediate cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix adhesion, and interacts with cytoskeletal proteins. CD44 is widely expressed in hematopoietic cells and mesodermal cells and is a marker of these cells. Studies have shown that the loss of CD44 expression is related to invasion, metastasis and progression of lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer and malignant melanoma.
